How to tame a World of Warcraft spirit beast

This article will teach you how to obtain one of the spirit beasts available in the World of Warcraft:Wrath of the Lich King game.

Things You'll Need:

• A PC computer with World of Warcraft:Wrath of the Lich King installed
• A working internet connection
• A web browser
• A World of Warcraft:Wrath of the Lich King account with a level 80, Beast Mastery talented, hunter

1. Visit http://www.wowhead.com and perform a search for the term "spirit beast" in order to obtain a list of all of the available spirit beasts in the game.

2. In the wowhead.com search results page, click the name of the spirit beast of your choice in order to access a map of the available spawn points for the beast in question.

3. Once you know which beast you want to tame, and the places where it can possibly spawn, log into World of Warcraft using your level 80 hunter.

4. Visit a stable master and leave your current pet in the stable (you must not have a pet with you in order to tame a new one).

5. Travel to the zone where the beast that you chose to capture is known to spawn.

6. Using your character's mount, travel around the zone in question visiting all of the possible spawn points displayed in the wowhead.com map that you obtained in step two.

7. Once you manage to find the beast you are looking for, dismount, and set-up a Freeze Trap.

8. Shoot the beast you are trying to capture with your weapon and draw it to the Freeze Trap.

9. Once the beast is trapped, use your Tame Beast ability and let it run through its full duration until the animal is tamed, and becomes your new pet.

Tips & Warnings

• World of Warcraft add-ons such as NPCScan can make it easier for you to find out when a particular spirit beast spawns, even if you happen to be far away from it, and it may cut down on the time you need to spend traveling between spawn points.
• It is very likely that other hunters on your server will be looking for the same animal, so make sure you act quickly once you find one to make sure you get to it before your competitors. This is especially true in PvP servers, where you may have to fight other hunters who are trying to capture the same beast as you.
