Incresing your value of your vehicle for resale is actually pretty easy by folowing these easy steps.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

You can increase the value of your car and truck if you are considering selling it by following a few easy steps. The key is to making the car look great...not just clean but making it shine like it is new. I used to work in a detail shop and the upsale on cars was determined by how well they cleaned up. This is for cars that have been around up to 10 years and cars like these are sold at all dealerships as used cars.

  2. Step 2

To begin have the car professionally detailed. professional detailers cost about 130-200.00. the cars interior will be fully vacuumed and at the same time the detailer will use a special dye for the carpets. This is a trick of the trade for resale ... eventually the dye will fade but it helps with reselling your car.

  3. Step 3

Have the car tuned up professionally and have all papers together with the vehicle including all maintenance records...etc. When your car gets detailed it will also get a compound which takes out oxidation and restores the paints natural gleam. This can be done on your own but it does take some special types of machines and is best done by professionals, by ding this you can increase the value of your vehicle up to 1-2000 bucks.
