How to Cinnamon Rolls Without Yeast

This is an easy way to make cinnamon rolls without yeast! A favorite family breakfest treat to eat!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dough
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Filling
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Sharp knife
  • Pan
  • 3 bowl
  • Big spoons
  • Large plate
  1. Step 1

    For the filling, in a small bowl combine softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to form a crumbly mixture put in fridge until you get to the 6th step.

  2. Step 2

    In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Step 3

    Cut in softened butter (sometimes your hands are the best tools).

  4. Step 4

    Stir in milk to form a soft dough.

  5. Step 5

    Roll out dough on a lightly floured into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

  6. Step 6

    Spread the remaining filling on the rolled out dough then roll up again. (Small ones should look like that in the next step).

  7. Step 7

    Roll up the rectangle, with a sharp knife slice into 18 small rolls (12 if you want them a little bigger).

  8. Step 8

    Bake for 20-25 min at 400°F.

  9. Step 9

    For glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl and stir until smooth.

  10. Step 10

    Once rolls are finished, drizzle on glaze and serve warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • Let glaze and filling cool in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • Set oven on 400 when making dough.
  • Raisins are optional.
  • Let cinnamon rolls cool for 15 minutes after put on glaze so can harden.
  • Put glaze on large enough plate.
  • Use oven mitts to open and take buns out
