I am so messy when I am cooking, eating or even when drawing. I have dropped my pen and gotten ink on me and have learned from that to get it out pretty easily.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bleach
  • Hairspray
  • Tide Pen
  • Murphy's Oil Soap
  1. Step 1

Ball Point Pen Ink: Blot out what you can with a paper towel. Then use hair spray, spray it on, rinse it out. Wash as normal.

  2. Step 2

Felt Tip Pen Ink: Use either Tide pen or Murphy's Oil Soap and a tiny bit of elbow grease. Wash as normal.

  3. Step 3

Permanent Ink: This is the one that is hard...You can't bleach it unless it is on white or on a white part of the fabric and then you still have to be careful because permanent will bleed with bleach. If it is on a fabric that can not be bleached use nail polish remover. Place it on a white towel, put a bit of polish remover on a q-tip and blot. It will take time to blot out but will eventually come out. Wash as normal.

  4. Step 4

If you have tried it all and it doesn't come out most times your local dry cleaner will take out the stain if they know what it is.
