It is so convenient to make this onion soup mix ahead of time, store in an airtight container, and use it when you have a get-together, party, or tailgate party. This mix is also less expensive than buying the packaged dry soups at the grocery store.
Having this dry mix also makes it easy to make smaller quantities of onion dip when you just want an easy appetizer or snack and do not want to deal with leftovers.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

  • Dry ingredients: 3/4 cup of dried minced onion, 1/3 cup of granules of beef bouillon. 1/4 cup of each of these dry ingredients: onion powder, celery seed, and sugar
  • When it comes time to make your dip, you will mix 5 Tablespoons of this mix with 2 cups of sour cream
  • airtight container
  • crackers, breadsticks, celery, or other foods for dipping.

Measure out the dry ingredients named in the items needed box.

Mix the dry ingredients until well-combined.

  7. Step 7

Serve the chilled onion dip with crackers, breadsticks, celery, or other sliced vegetables.
