If you travel the Illinois Tollway frequently, you can save time and money by getting an ipass transponder. These devices attach to your dash or windshield and allow you to bypass the longer cash lines on the Illinois Tollway. This article will help you get your own Illinois ipass.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Gather the following information before calling or visiting an ipass service center:

    Your E-Mail Address
Your Credit or Debit Card Information
The Name, Address, etc. of Account Holder
    State Driver's License Number
Your License Plate Number & Type
The Model, Make, and Year of Vehicle

  2. Step 2

Go to the main Tollway office, one of the Tollway customer service centers or a retailer who sell ipass transponders. The main Tollway office is at 2700 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove. Tollway customer service centers can be found at the oasis locations (rest areas) at:

    The O’Hare Oasis

    The Chicago Southland Lincoln Oasis
    The Belvidere Oasis

You can also visit one of over 200 Jewel-Osco locations or select Road Ranger locations to purchase an ipass transponder.

If you cannot go to one of these locations, you can call 1-800-824-7277 to order an ipass transponder. Call between 6 a.m. to 10 p.m weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m on weekends.

  3. Step 3
