Things You'll Need:
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 1 small can of cream of chicken
- up to 2 cups of chicken broth (depending on how thick you want it)
- 9x9 baking dish
- salt and pepper (optional)
-
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375
-
Step 2
Boil chicken until it turns white, making sure the inside is cooked as well
-
Step 3
After chicken has been boiled, cut it up into small bite size pieces and set aside
-
Step 4
Open your can of cream of chicken and pour half of it into your baking dish making sure you cover the dish completely
-
Step 5
Open your crescent rolls and lay one flat on one hand and plate pieces of the chicken onto it. The fold up the corners over the chicken so the crescent roll covers most of the chicken. Don't worry if you can't cover all the meat. Place the rolled up chicken into the baking dish with folded up sides facing down
-
Step 6
When all your chicken has been rolled up into the crescent rolls and placed side by side in the baking dish, cover the tops of each roll with the rest of your cream of chicken
-
Step 7
Pour your chicken broth over the rolled up chicken until it is at least to the top of the chicken rolls, add salt and pepper if you wish, and place in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top
-
Step 8
After cooking, let stand for at least 5 minutes to thicken up
