Step 1
Find an online journal that suits your needs. There are a number of services out there. Livejournal is probably the most popular, but there are a lot of other similar services out there too. Maybe sign up for a few and try them out to see how you like them. I'll link some of the more popular ones below.

Step 2
Decide what you're going to write about. You could write about your life, a hobby, your dreams, or any other topic that you'll have something to say about fairly frequently.

Find a time to write when you won't be distracted. It could be first thing when you get up in the morning, during your lunch break, or the last thing you do before you go to sleep at night. Just find a time when you'll be able to drop everything and just write without being bothered by others or distracted by your daily life.

Step 4
Stay with it a while and it'll just become a habit. Eventually you won't feel right if you skip your writing session. That's the goal.
