Things You'll Need:
- Imitation Maple Flavor.
- 1 Cup water.
- 2 Cups Sugar.
- 1/2 to 1 tsp Mapleine.
-
Step 1
Purchase imitation maple flavoring. My personal favorite is Cresent brand Mapleine.
-
Step 2
Pour 1 cup of water into pan. Heat the water to boiling.
-
Step 3
Pour 2 cups of sugar slowly into the boiling water stirring as the sugar is poured.
-
Step 4
Once all the sugar has been added and thoroughly dissolved, add and stir in the maple flavoring.
-
Step 5
Let the syrup cool enough until it is safe to eat.
-
Step 6
This recipe makes approximately 21/4 cups of delicious syrup, but make as much as you need by double or tripling the recipe. It stores in the refrigerator for several weeks.
