how to get a good nights sleep safely

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Tossing and turning while trying to get a goods night sleep is quite awful. Especially if you fall asleep just in time for you to wake up.
Hopefully with a few good suggestions I am hoping that I will be able to assist you into getting a good nights rest quietly and safely.

  2. Step 2

About an hour before you lay to rest try exercising. Whether it is yoga or aerobics or simply doing stretches for about thirty minutes. Personally Yoga makes me sleepy therefore I will do a few yoga moves if I have trouble sleeping.

  3. Step 3

If you cant exercise for some reason why not watch a boring show on television. .Or better yet watch a movie you do not like. There are some television channels that play soft music while showing waterfalls and other calming things of that nature. These usually make me yawn.

  4. Step 4

Reading a book right before going to sleep is another good way of falling asleep. Lay in your bed and read until you feel your book drop(or your jaw for that matter).

  5. Step 5

I don't drink warm milk or tea right before bed because I tend to take several trips to the bathroom(this interrupts my sleep)therefore I skip the drinks.

  6. Step 6

Lastly if I need to, I take a sleep aid which is called Melatonin. No this is not medication or a sleeping pill(remember I did state in my article SAFE). This does not make you drowsy nor is it addictive. This is a dietary supplement. When you awake in the morning there are no side affects. You can ask your doctor and/or the pharmacist about Melatonin or go online for faster information.

  7. Step 7

Well those are my suggestions for a good nights sleep safely. Good night. keep me posted
