How to Setup Skype on a PC

This e-how article is a step-by-step guide to assist you in the set up process for Skype. This Skype set-up guide is for PC computer users. Follow these directions sn you will be on your way to using Skype.

Instructions

1. First go to skype.com or go to this link to download .dmg file from (Download should start automatically)
   http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/downloading/

2. Run Skype Setup application
   
   A window will open asking what to do. Now click 'Save File'.

3. Follow Setup Wizard
   
   When download is complete, click on SkypeSetup.exe file from web browser Downloads window to open Skype Setup Application. (Keep in Mind you can also open it directly from the location you saved it which is typically the desktop).
   
   Next, the Skype Setup Wizard will appear and guide you through the remainder part of the installation.

4. Launch Skype Application
   
   After the installation is complete, open Skype by clicking on the icon on your desktop or in your system tray.
