How to make Delicious hand dipped chocolate covered candy apples

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 medum granny smith apples , one bag each of white and dark chocolate ,one bagof melting carmals , 6 popsicle sticks ,a assortment of candy . 3 micro safe bowels.
  1. Step 1

    Rinse and dry all 6 medium granny smith apples, and insert a popsicle stick in the top of each apple, then set apples aside on wax paper .

  2. Step 2

    empty each chocolate chip bag in a microwave able safe bowl, melt chocolate according to directions on bag. melt one bag of caramels, one bag of dark chocolate chips, and one bag of white chocolate chips, [use caution, chocolate and caramel will be very hot when melted.

  3. Step 3

    Make sure that apples are dry before dipping [for chocolate or carnal will not stick on a wet apple ] Drizzle carnal on top half of apple ,set aside to harden 3 to 5 minutes ,

  4. Step 4

    once carnal is set, dip bottom half of apple in chocolate, white or dark ,you may want to dip in chocolate several times ,depending on desired thickness.

  5. Step 5

    before the chocolate sets roll bottom half of apple in crushed candy or nuts

  6. Step 6

    set apple on wax paper until chocolate is dry and set this will take several minutes, these are fun eaten hole or cut in to several pieces and shared ,enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • for a fun look, dip bottom of apple in dark chocolate and drizzle white on the top of the apple , garnish bottom with desired candies or nuts . this is a fun way to bring family and friends together on a cool fall harvest night, Have a Apple Dipping Party Night, and serve with other apple creations, enjoy .
  • melted chocolate and bowl can be very hot! use caution. use wax paper to set apple on after dipping, to prevent apple from sticking ,
