You will learn the best way to use a bitsy bug (fishing jig).

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • well of course you will need a fishing pole, and a jig. You will also need paitents!
  1. Step 1

Start by tieing on the jig. I recommend a fishermens knot. i also recommend using a trailer, like a crawdad.

  2. Step 2

Now as you cast out let the jig sink a little and give it a quick twitch and let the jig sink to the bottom. MAKE SURE TO WATCH YOUR LINE, a bass could take off with the lure at any moment!

  3. Step 3

When the jig has sank to the bottom of the pond jig it 2 times and let it sink again. Repeat that process until the jig is all the way back to the shore you are on. if a bass takes off with it, try to let it run for 1-2 seconds and then give a good jerk to set the hook.

  4. Step 4

if you don't get any hits at all, try to slowly real it in. Those are the best ways to use the bitsy bug jig.

Tips & Warnings
  • umm you may get hit by the jig if you jerk the fishing rod really hard and it flys back and hits you
  • and theres a hook, so be careful with that!
