How to Cook Barbecue Baby Back Ribs

Things You'll Need
- Baby Back Ribs
- Sauce
- Sauce Brush
- Aluminum Foil
- Oven
- Gas or Charcoal Grill
- Salt
- Pepper

Take the ribs out of the freezer the night before cooking the ribs and place the ribs in the refrigerator.(Leave in package)

Place the ribs in the refrigerator.(Leave in the package)

The following day take the ribs out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.

Remove the ribs from the packaging.

Remove the membrane on the back of the ribs. (This will allow the ribs to absorb the sauce and seasoning more thoroughly and will make the ribs more tender.)

Place seasoning on ribs. (Such as salt and pepper or even a rib rub)

Use the sauce brush to spread the barbecue sauce evenly on both side of the ribs.

Place sliced red onion on top of the ribs. This will add flavor and is optional.

Wrap each rack of ribs separately in aluminum foil.(Make sure you wrap the ribs tightly with the seam of the foil facing up)

Place each rack of ribs on a cookie or baking sheet.(Again with the seam of the foil facing up)

After the oven is pre heated to 275 degrees. Place the sheet of ribs inside the oven on the center rack. Cook for 2 to 2 and a half hours or until the meat has pulled back from the ends of the bones by a half inch.

When the ribs are just about done preheat your grill to medium heat.

After the ribs have finished cooking, remove them from the oven.

*Carefully remove the ribs from the foil. The juices inside will be extremely hot!

Place each rack of ribs on the grill. Grill them on the barbecue for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until the ribs begin to char.(Make sure to watch the ribs carefully so they do not burn)

Brush the barbecue sauce on the ribs a few minutes prior to removing them from the grill.(Make sure to do this step a few minutes prior to removing them from the grill or the sauce could burn)

Remove from grill carefully!

Serve with extra sauce and enjoy!
