Do not purchase so much furniture in the first place. If you are not using the dining room on a regular basis why concern yourself over having a dining room set that seats eight. A simple table with a couple of chairs will suffice.

Step 2
Purchase quality made pieces of furniture. Don’t worry about what is trendy today. It won’t be trendy in a year. Look for timeless classic pieces that are built well and will withstand the test of time.
