      Turn the socks right-side out before treating the stain and laundering.

      Spot-treat grass stains, mud and other marks with a quick shot of a stain-removing spray, gel or stick.

      Add a scoop of an oxygen-bleach laundry booster as the washing machine starts to fill with warm water, before adding your regular laundry detergent. Drop the socks in as soon as you see suds and swish them around before adding the rest of your laundry. If you have a front-loading machine, add the laundry booster to the bleach dispenser.
