How to Increase Your Internet Speed for Fun at No Charge
Some Internet service providers will put a cap on service in areas where there are a lot of users. This is done to prevent the use of file-sharing programs (such as Kazaa and Bit Torrent) in high-traffic areas. When a lot of people are downloading illegal material, this can slow down Internet speeds for the honest user. You cannot remove the cap entirely (outside of paying), but you can do a tweak which will slightly increase your overall download and upload speeds.
