How to Make Golf Score Sheets
Golf score cards are used to record the number of strokes taken on each hole in a golf course. At the end of a round of golf, all the strokes are tallied and compared to the "par" number of strokes for the course. If you hit a 70 and par is 68, your score is +2. If you hit a 65 and par is 68, your score is -3. Golf scorecards can usually be obtained at every golf course clubhouse, but it is simple to make your own scorecard at home.

1
Use a ruler to draw 19 vertical lines on your piece of paper. The lines should be at least 3 inches long, but they should be longer if you will be using the card to record the golf scores for many people.
If you have a computer program similar to Excel, you can make the score sheet on your computer. Rather than drawing the lines, you will limit your spreadsheet to 19 boxes.

2
Draw three horizontal lines through the vertical lines you drew in Step 1. The lines should be drawn about 1/3 of an inch apart, so you can make small boxes where the score is recorded. For each additional golfer, draw another horizontal line.
If you are using your computer, make sure your spreadsheet is 19 boxes wide and at least three boxes long.

Write "Hole" in the open space next to the first row of boxes, then write the numbers 1 through 18 in the first row of boxes, beginning with the first complete box. In the second row write "Par," and then write the par amount for each hole in the box underneath the hole's number. Write the name of the golfer in the first blank in the third row.
If you are using your computer, you can type these labels into the specified boxes. Print out the scorecard now.

4
Record the golfer's score in the empty box underneath the hole number and the hole's par value. At the end of the row there is a blank box where you can write the total score for the round of golf.
