Navigate to myspace.com and sign on to your account.

Open the MySpace IM (Instant Messenger) tool and click "File" on the top menu. Scroll down and select "Preferences."

Click the "Message History" tab and choose "Clear All Message History Files" to delete all previously saved MySpace chat history. Move to the next step to disable chat history logging and automatically delete MySpace chatting history.

Click the "File" button again on the top menu of the MySpace IM tool and select "Preferences."

Click the "Message History" tab and select the "Do not save my IM's" option. Click "OK" to save the changes. All MySpace chat history will be automatically deleted to remove any traces.
