How to Send a Web Page to a Fax Machine

Fax machines allow you to send and receive messages quickly. You can send documents of all types by fax and include signatures without having to do so in person. You don't need a physical fax machine at your location to fax documents. You can send them online, thanks to Internet connections.

Instructions

  1. Method 1--Convert Web Page to PDF Document

      Go to the web page you want to fax and copy its website address from the address bar. Then go to freepdfconvert.com and use the online converter.

      Change the option for "Convert from" to URL and paste the entire web address you copied from your web page into the URL text box.

      Enter your email address to receive notification when the conversion is complete. You may also place a checkmark by "Attach files to email" to use this option (optional).

      Click on "Convert." To convert your file using your own PDF program, go to the web page you want to fax and select "File, Print" from the toolbar.

      Choose the PDF printer option and click on "Print." Browse to the location you would like to save the file in the "Save As" dialog box and name your file. Click on "Save." Your web page will be converted to a PDF document.

      Go to faxzero.com to use their free online fax service.

      Enter the name, company, fax number and email of the sender. Also, enter the name, company and fax number of the receiver.

      Browse to retrieve the web page PDF file you saved. Then enter a note to the receiver in the text box. Add the confirmation code and click on the "Send Free Fax Now" button.

    Method 2--Fax Web Page in PDF or HTML Format

      Go to aircomusa.com/emailtofax.html and register for an account to use their email to fax service. You'll receive an email address from AirComUSA once your account is set up.

      Go to the web page you want to fax. You can either convert the web page to a PDF or save it as an HTML file by selecting "File, Save As" from the menu. Images on the web server will not display if you select the HTML file option.

      Open your email and insert the web page as an attachment. Add your AirComUSA email address in the "To" field.

      Add your fax summary in the subject line and type the recipient's fax number in the body of your email message. To fax internationally, add the digits "011," the country code and fax number to the message body.

      Click "Send" to fax your web page.
