Things You'll Need:
- Iron Skillet
- 2 eggs
- A dab of butter
- Stove top cooking surface
- Bowl
- Wisk
- Wooden spoon
- (Toast on the side)
-
Step 1
Get all of your ingredients and place on counter. Crack two eggs into bowl. This part is easy enough for kids to help you if you are so inclined. Hopefully there are no shells to have to scoop out.
-
Step 2
Wisk the eggs. Add a tiny amount of milk or water to the eggs. This can make your eggs fluffy. Use good wrist action for better eggs!
-
Step 3
Put a dab of butter into an iron skillet which is on medium heat. Once the butter is melted and a little bit sizzling, pour the eggs into pan.
-
Step 4
Using a wooden spoon, once the eggs start cooking around the edges, turn them lightly and easily. They don’t like to be over handled or damaged!
-
Step 5
Once you see that they have all been cooked, quickly take off the heat and put on a plate. Take a piece of toasted bread (with a little butter on it) and place on the side. Kids love toast and eggs!
