Ahh, the beer bong. Just hearing the words" beer bong" muttered makes me think of memories. Memories that I probably would have remembered if I never had a beer bong in college. Homemade beer bongs have been around for ages. Today you can even purchase them in stores. But why waste good money-beer money-when you can build one yourself for cheap. Here are a few steps to help you build a funnel beer bong in minutes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic Funnel
  • Shut off or ball valve
  • 3 feet clear vinyl tubing
  1. Step 1

Go to your local Home Depot, Lowes, or hardware store and buy your materials. Funnels are usually found in the automotive department. Get a large funnel at least 10 inches in diameter. If you can find one with a hook on it great. Having a hook or nail hole on the funnel will allow you to hang the beer bong while the foam is settling instead of having to hold it up.

  2. Step 2

Find 3 feet of clear plastic vinyl tubing. Vinyl tubing is normally sold by the foot on a large roll. You might have to call a store employee to cut it for you. Make sure the tubing fits snugly into the funnel. You don't want any leaks.

  3. Step 3

Purchase a plastic "shut off" or" ball" valve. These can be found in the plumbing department by the pvc fittings. The valve will allow you to control the flow of beer without you having to use your thumb. Again make sure your valve fits snugly into the tubing and forms a tight seal.

  4. Step 4

After your beer bong is completely assembled and all the fitting and snugly in place, wash it out with soap and water. When the bong is dry your ready to start drinking responsibly!
