How to Hold Clippers

How to prepare clippers and hold them for a nice mens haircut.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• clippers
• clipper blades

1. Plug in the clippers. Without the metal blade on, turn on the clippers. Insert the metal blade into its place and clip in with clippers running. This insures a good fit. If you have "Wahl" clippers or clippers with the metal blade screwed in place, then you can skip STEP 1.

2. To start, hold your clippers at the top. *see image* this will help get around the nape of the neck up to the occipital bone of the head.

3. Once you have finished the back. next step is the sides and top. You will want to move your hand to the bottom of the clippers. *see image* Moving back and forth can accomplish the task of clipping the sides and top.

4. The last step is trimming around the ears and neck. That will be in "How to trim a men's hair." Thank you for your interest.
