Instructions

    • 2

Remove the house water supply line from the valve with a wrench. This is the copper tubing; it is held in place with a compression fitting.

    • 3

Label and disconnect the four wires connected to the water inlet valve by removing the leads from the terminals with your fingers.

    • 4

Disconnect the water inlet valve from the dishwasher by removing the four mounting screws with a screwdriver. Unclamp the discharge hose from the valve by loosening the screw on the clamp with a screwdriver. Take the water inlet valve with you to an appliance repair shop and purchase a new one that is the exact size and shape.

Attach the rubber discharge hose to the new valve. Attach the valve to the dishwasher using the mounting screws. Attach the copper inlet water tube to the new valve.
