Sunglasses tend to get scratched regardless of how much care we take when handling them. The sunglasses fall off our faces, they get knocked to the floor, sat on. The potential scratching scenarios are endless. Oakley sunglasses are expensive but the company does offer a replacement warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty only covers the frames and not the lenses. Thankfully, you can remove the scratches from your Oakley sunglasses with very little effort.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brasso
  • 2 washcloths
  • Soap
  • Vinegar
  1. Step 1

Squirt a quarter size amount of Brasso directly onto a washcloth.

  2. Step 2

Rub the Brasso onto your Oakley lenses. Rub in a circular motion for three to five minutes.

  3. Step 3

Wipe away the excess Brasso with a clean area of your washcloth.

  4. Step 4

Wash your Oakley sunglasses with soap and water. You can do this at your kitchen sink.

  5. Step 5

Pat dry the lenses with the corner of your second washcloth.

  6. Step 6

Soak the corner of your second wash cloth with vinegar. Wring out any excess moisture.

  7. Step 7

Wipe your lenses with the vinegar soaked end of your wash cloth. This will remove any leftover Brasso. Set the glasses aside to air dry.
