Quicken is a money management tool made by Intuit. Some updates to Quicken 2007 include a better view of how much money you have in each account at all times. The 2007 version works on any system running Windows 2000 or newer. The most basic version of Quicken 2007 is about $30 (as of 2009). Like any new program, you may run into a problem or two as you use it. Luckily those issues are not difficult to troubleshoot.

Instructions

    Initial Troubleshooting

  1. Step 1

    Open Quicken 2007 to the home page.

  2. Step 2

    Select "Online" from the toolbar at the top of your home page.

  3. Step 3

    Choose "One-Step Update Summary" from the menu.

  4. Step 4

    Write down the letters and numbers that appear in the "Errors and Messages" area. This is your error code.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the error code into the Quicken knowledge base to find an answer to your problem.

  6. Further Troubleshooting

  7. Step 1

    Go to Quicken's Customer Help page on their website.

  8. Step 2

    Click on "Troubleshooting Questions" about halfway down the page.

  9. Step 3

    Scroll down the page until you find the problem you are having with Quicken 2007. Follow the steps corresponding to the issue you have.

  10. Step 4

    Go back to the Customer Help page if you don't find your problem in the area for troubleshooting.

  11. Step 5

    Select your version of Quicken and type in your question at the top of the page, then search.

  • The Premier version of Quicken 2007 is around $70 and lets you monitor investments.
