How to Install a Radio in a Nokia E61i?

The Nokia E61i is a smartphone designed specifically for extensive mobile email usage with advanced attachment handling and document editing. The phone features a high-quality two megapixel camera, music player and video player. It doesn't have the built-in functionally of a radio player; however, with the Shoutcast engine and Internet radio client, the Nokia E61i can stream just about any radio station.

Things You'll Need:

• Nokia E61i phone
• Shoutcast engine and Internet radio client

1. Open a Web browser on your phone and navigate to the Nokia download page (see Resources below).

2. Select the link "Shoutcast Engine" under "S60 3rd Edition" to download and install the Internet radio application.

3. Browse the Shoutcast.com site for radio stations. Copy station links from the Shoutcast site to the playlist folder (c:\Shoutcast directory) of your phone for use with the Internet radio application.
