A very efficient, super easy way to create the perfect french manicure without the salon prices. =]

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • nail clipper
  • nail filer
  • cuticle pusher
  • base coat
  • white tip nail color
  • sheer pink or beige nail color
  • clear top coat
  1. Step 1

Begin with clean unpolished toe nails, and soak in warm water for about 5 minutes. Then remove from water and pat dry. Next apply the cuticle oil and push back all cuticles to make even. Then only clip nails if you feel necessary, otherwise just a bit of filing the nail straight across will do. Next, wipe off all the oil from the nails and begin to paint.

  2. Step 2

Apply a base coat to the toe nails. you want to try a protein based polish with UV protection. Sally Hansen carries one for about 6 dollars. This will prevent your nails from yellowing as you keep polish on them. Then beginning on either corner of the nail start a thing straight line of the white tip polish across the nail. (repeat a second coat if this seems to light, or the line wasn't straight enough for your liking.)

  3. Step 3

Next apply the sheer polish of your choice to each nail, and finish with the top coat. Allow about a half hour to 45 minutes to fully dry,(unless using quick dry polish which requires less wait time.)

Tips & Warnings
  • I would recommend any sally Hansen products for this how to. They are well priced and most of the polishes include a nail hardener to prevent nails from breaking and peeling.
