Step 1
There are a few ways to make sure a bicycle rim stops wobbling when it is bent. You will need to locate the bend in the rim first. Then you will check the tension on the spokes at the area of the bend. If one side has no tension at all then it is time for you to replace the wheel on the bicycle.

Step 2
If there is tension on the will than you can adjust the tension of the spokes to adjust to the rim. You will then use the spokes on one side to pull the rim straight and to loosen the other side and to allow the rim to be pulled to be straightened out. You will need to do this carefully.

Step 3
You should use caution when doing this there is a possibility of injury. As you adjust the tension the amount should be the same on both sides of the wheel. Then you will need to tighten all of the spokes when you are finished. If the wheel has high spots then tighten the spokes in this area. If it has low spots you will need to loosen the spokes in this area.
