Things You'll Need:
- Your little crappy cell phone

Step 1
That smartphone thinks it's sooooo smart. I'll show it.ADD GOOGLE AS A CONTACT. Add Google's text number, which is 46645, to your text contact list. Name it Google, because that's what it is, duh. To my knowledge, Google has had this cell phone text program available for quite some time, but it was never advertised, so many people don't know about it.

Step 2
Don't you hate cell phone family offers that try to sell you what I am giving you for free now?CONDUCT GOOGLE SEARCHES. Conduct cell phone searches just like you would on a regular computer. The one piece of information you do need is the zip code of where you're trying to go, if you're looking for directions. For instance, "cell phone" might not get you helpful information. "tmobile phone 91325" will get you tmobile phone stores around the zip code of 91325, which would probably be much more helpful to you.

Step 3
Maybe now you'll pay more attention to what cell phone offers you take!! ;)HELPFUL HINTS. ;) The listings show up in your cell phone window with a name, address and phone number. So if you're lost, or you need to get somewhere, and you're not familiar with the area, you're going to have to do it old school and actually CALL. Yes, that's right, you have to actually use your cell phone as a PHONE. Don't worry; after a couple of times, you'll get used to it. I promise. Now this cell phone program mostly functions as a substitute for 411, or a direction finder. There are ways to get the program to do a bit more, but that's for another article. Also, don't call and drive. It's illegal now. See you next time!!
