Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First, spray your enzyme spray directly onto the diaper. This spray will help stains and odors as it eats away the bacteria.

  2. Step 2

Next, place your diaper into the diaper pail. Depending on how many cloth diapers you own you won’t need to do wash for quite some time as the enzyme spray will not cause on foul smell in the room.

  3. Step 3

After your diaper pail is filled and you are ready to wash your diapers, empty the cloth diapers into your washing machine.

  4. Step 4

Rinse your diapers on a cold pre-rinse.

  5. Step 5

After that, complete a full cycle using hot water from your washer. Be sure to use a soap formula that is free of residues to prevent any damage to the cloth diaper.

  6. Step 6

When the cycle is finished throw your cloth diapers into the dryer and dry on a low or medium heat. You can also hang dry the diapers on the line outside.
