How to express your opinion to the President of the United States

Think your voice can't be heard by the President? Think again! What you say just might matter after all. You've got great thought and ideas and feel that the White House needs to know about them, now spread your opinion with your words and hopefully some action will take place. Instructions

1. There is in existence a White House comment line where you can leave a message for the President of the United States and let him know your opinion on various Political issues. Calling the White House comment line is a terrific way for your voice to be heard!

2. You will need to call the White House direct and make your personal comments to a staff member. The staff members are usually very nice people who are doing volunteer work so please do not give them a hard time.

3. The number to call is 202-456-1111

4. A White House staff member will listen to your comments and record them for possible presentation to the President.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't call the White House yelling at the representative! This will get you no where. Instead, calmly explain your precipitation on various political issues.

• Best to use your cell phone and not your land line phone to make the call. You shouldn't have to pay long distance charges to call the White House and voice your opinion.
