The website allows students to share comments about professors.

Students have long tried to find out about professors before taking a class with them. With the Internet, this no longer requires finding the professor’s former students and pumping them for information. At ratemyprofessors.com you can rate, comment on and view other comments about these teachers. Some students leave the site terrified and wanting a class change while others can't wait for their first day of class.

Instructions

1. Go to the ratemyprofessors.com website.

2. Click on the "Find a Professor" or "Find Your School" tab. You are able to type in the last name of the professor or search by school. If you search by school, you can later filter the results by the first letter of the last name of the professor you are looking for.

3. Rate your professor by clicking on the button that says "rate," which will bring up a screen where you can rate the professor on easiness, helpfulness, clarity and textbook use. Add any other extra comments you would like.

4. Click the professor’s name to see other students' comments and ratings.
