This punch is a classic in my family. We always had this punch when ever there was a birthday party or any other kind of festivity. I love making this punch for my kids and aside of it being a great thirst quencher, it's a perfect way to add fruit into our kids diet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pitcher
  • water
  • sugar
  • 1 tropical punch Kool-Aid packet
  • 1 can of pineapple juice
  • 1 to 2 cans of mixed fruit or fresh fruits of your choice.
  • ice, optional
  1. Step 1

In a large pitcher or punch bowl, add two quarts of water. Add the packet of the Kool-Aid tropical punch. Stir until completely dissolved.

  2. Step 2

Add enough sugar to sweeten the kool-aid. Making sure the sugar is completely dissolved before moving to the next step.

  3. Step 3

Pour the can of pineapple juice into the punch and stir to incorporate. Add the can(s) of drained mixed fruit into the punch or cut up fruits of your choice into chunks and add it to the punch.

  4. Step 4

Chill in the refrigerator until ready to be served. Serve it over ice and don't forget a spoon to scoop up the fruit.

Tips & Warnings
  • Any kind of sugar substitute can be used in place of the sugar.
  • Use a variety of fresh fruits to make this punch enjoyable, such as kiwis, grapes, cherries, peaches or nectarines.
  • Using the ready made Hawaiian tropical punch can also be substituted in place of the kool-aid.
  • This punch is also a great way to introduce a new fruit to any child.
  • Do not make the Kool-Aid with cold water because the sugar will not dissolve.
