Many bike seats that are purchased with your bike are usually uncomfortable and poor quality. People can purchased a brand new seat separately and upgrade to a seat of perfection making bike rides more comfortable and enjoyable.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bike
  • Bike Seat
  • Allen-wrench
  1. Step 1

First, locate the correct allen-wrench size that fits the bolts under your bike seat.

  2. Step 2

Then, proceed to loosen the bolts directly under the seat. Loosen them to the point where the seat becomes very wiggly.

  3. Step 3

After that, slide the old seat off and set aside. You could save your old seat for a different bike or sell it.

  4. Step 4

Put your new bike seat in place and align and center it correctly. The tip of the bike seat should be directly centered with the frame on the bike.

  5. Step 5

After the new seat is in proper position you can tighten the bolts under the seat using your allen-wrench. Be sure that the bolts are very tight so the seat doesn't slide around during your riding time.
