You have a boyfriend and would like to make him a gift bag. Whether it's for Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas, a birthday, graduation, or a dating anniversary, gift bags are a great way to show how much you like him. Plus, gift bags don't have to cost a lot of money.
Things You'll Need
- Sweet treats
- Picnic foods
- Filling (newspaper, Easter grass, tissue paper)
- Fresh-baked goodies
- Personalized note or card
Fill the gift bag with sweet treats. If your boyfriend loves chocolate, fill the gift bag with chocolate bars or candy treats, such as Mr. Goodbar, 100 Grand and Twix. Include packaged goodies such as fruit snacks, cookies and brownies.
Pack a picnic. Double the gift bag as a date and pack a picnic for you and your boyfriend. Include bite-size sandwiches, chips, veggies, fruits and a dessert (cookies or brownies are easy to pack). Include bottled water or a bottle of sparkling cider and plastic glasses.
Pack the gift bag with decorative filling. You can use newspaper for a birthday or "just because" gift bag. Use plastic colored grass for an Easter gift bag. Use black or orange tissue paper for a Halloween gift bag. Use red tissue paper for Valentine's Day or Christmas.
Pack with freshly baked goodies. If you have a knack for baking, show off your skills to your boyfriend by filling his gift bag with freshly baked goodies. You can include cookies, brownies, bread, muffins and more. He'll love them and you'll enjoy watching him eat them.
Include a personalized note. Write a personal note on nice stationery or a clean piece of paper. With a little more effort, choose a greeting card for your boyfriend. Be sure to write a personal note and sign your name on the card. Include the note or card with the gift bag.
Tips & Warnings
- Make a coupon book for things such as a free neck massage, free game of miniature golf, and one dinner on the town. Include this in the gift bag to make it extra special.
