How to Get Rid of Green AV Virus
The Green AV popup that you get on your computer is a virus. The icon of this virus program looks identical to the Microsoft Security Center. It displays messages telling you that you need to download the Green AV software, and when you do, it steals your credit card information. Do not hit any buttons if this fake program pops up on your computer. Instead, delete it right away.

Tips & Warnings
If these steps didn't work for you, create a shortcut on your Desktop to your virus protection program. Disconnect from the Internet, restart your computer and as soon as you see your Desktop, click your virus protection program from the Desktop icon. It may take your virus program some time to start, but when it pops up, run the virus protection program and don't do anything else. If you were not quick enough to access the program, restart your computer again until you can do it before the virus loads.
Once the virus is gone, it may appear that you can't access the Internet. Check your Internet settings. Some viruses change your proxy settings, so you need to change them back to what they were before you got the virus.
Be careful of the sites you visit online that claim to get rid of the Green AV Virus; they may very well be other virus sites.
