How to Keep and Organize Old Greeting Cards Digitally

There are people that can not just throw important cards or greetings after reading. Some like to keep it somewhere in the closet, cabinet, drawers or even in the basements. You will just be surprise how those old cards stayed there for so long. Those things have sentimental value for the keepers. It might be love cards, valentines cards, Christmas cards, birthday cards, anniversary cards, wedding cards and more.
I made this article to help those who can not let go their old card for some reasons. This will eliminate unwanted bulk cards but still keeping it good and easy to share and keep. Since we are keeping it digitally, we are going to scan your cards and will be stored in any free website hosting for photos and slide shows. This is good only if you can scanner at home and Internet at home. After scanning your favorite cards, then it is time to empty your box, throw it away and make your room neat and clean.

Instructions

1. Go over your old greeting card or cards. Find space as your working station.

2. Choose the cards that you really like to kept. Set aside and file it with together.

3. Eliminate those unwanted cards and put it the trash.

4. Prepare the cards for scanning. Scan each cards one by one and save it in your computer.

5. Edit the scanned cards (it works like a picture now) using your computer's picture editor.

6. Upload it in the Internet by creating an account in any of the following web sites : Photo bucket, multiply, facebook, friendster, flickr etc.
