Step 1
Mix the following ingredients in a bowl, bucket or large pitcher: ¼ of a cup of Buttermilk,let the buttermilk come to room temperature, sift 1 ¼ cups of whole wheat flour and a ½ gallon of very warm water. Use a hand mixer to mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Step 2
Pour the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake to break up any lumps. Remove any damaged leaves and discard in a sealed plastic bag to stop a re-infestation.

Step 3
Spray your houseplants or outdoor plants fairly heavily with this mixture. The Spider Mites become coated with the mixture, suffocate and die.

Step 4
Rinse the residue off of your plants after 24 hours. For large leaf plants wipe with a wet rag. Reapply as needed.
