Make Delicious Gluten Free Waffles

Delicious gluten free waffles don't have to be time consuming and hard to make. They taste just like regular waffles but are gluten free for those of you following the gluten free diet. They will sure be a family favorite!! Just follow these simple steps, and you'll have delicious waffles in less than 15 minutes!!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup Arrowhead Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 cup canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • waffle iron
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, frozen may be used instead
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 banana
  • maple syrup
  1. Step 1

    To make the waffles, beat the egg, water, canola oil, and honey together in a bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add the baking mix to the liquid ingredients and then beat or whisk until well blended.

  3. Step 3

    Pour onto a hot waffle iron and bake until the steaming stops and the waffle is golden brown.

  4. Step 4

    To make the strawberry topping, cut up the strawberries put them in a saucepan and add the sugar.

  5. Step 5

    Cook on a medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Step 6

    Assemble the waffles with the strawberry topping, sliced bananas and maple syrup. You can also substitute the strawberries and bananas with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!!!!

  • Makes about two 7" waffles
