Things You'll Need:
- non-deodorant soap
- fragrance free moisturizers
-
Step 1
what is ashy skinTaking long hot showers can strip your skin of natural essential oils that your body naturally produce. Try taking shorter showers and try lukewarm water instead of hot.
-
Step 2
healthy skinTry a light non-deodorant bar soap. Deodorant soaps may be too harsh for your skin.
-
Step 3
body moistureApply a good moisturizer right after taking a bath and drying off. Try using a fragrance free moisturizer, or a suggestion would be to add liquid vitamin E (which can be found in Wal-mart and other like stores) to your favorite lotion to add more oil.
-
Step 4
exfoliate your skinTo remove dead skin, exfoliate your skin often. Having dead skin sloughed away from your feet would be a good thing. Be careful when removing dead skin. Do not go too far with sloughing, because you could cause sore spots if you remove all the dead skin and start to rub away the new skin. Remove a little at a time. Moisturize the dry areas often
