Having to defrost your windshield when it's covered with frost can be a nusiance at any time of the day but it's really inconvenient when you are ready to leave for work or trying to get the kids off to school and have to spend time trying to scrape the frost off the windshield or your back window so that you can see and drive.

Using rubbing alcohol is a quick no fuss way to remove the frost and be on your way in no time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • spray bottle filed with rubbing alcohol
  • ice scraper
  1. Step 1

Fill a spray bottle (you can either buy one in the dollar store or save an empty one like Windex) with rubbing alcohol.

  2. Step 2

Spray the rubbing alcohol all over the frost on your windshield and back window (or any windows that have frost).

  3. Step 3

Within minutes the frost should be ready to be scrapped with either an ice scraper or most of the time simply putting on your windshield wipers will do the trick.

  4. Step 4

Always keep a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol in your car so that you have it handy for anytime frost builds up on your windshield or car windows.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you always have a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol in your car for those harsh winter months when frost is a problem.
  • Make sure you always have an ice scraper handy
