Basic html training can help you completely alter the look of your documents and web pages. If you are learning HTML and want to know how to alter your font sizes, use the following steps.

  1. Step 1

    Go to www.practiceboard.com. This is where you will practice typing in your html code and checking out the results. You will see a box right below "Type in some HTML here".

  2. Step 2

    Type in the html code exactly seen in the image beside this step. Click on the image to enlarge it.

    Click on "see HTML" below the box. Your HTML results will appear in the left hand bottom corner of the page. You should see the phrase "Decreasing font size" in tiny letters.

  4. Step 4

    Change the font size number in your html to alter your font size to be larger or smaller. You can change your font size from 1-7. The default font size is typically 3.

  5. Step 5

    Keep playing with the number till you get the size you need. Once you're ready to go real time use your html on your web page to increase or decrease font size.
