Things You'll Need:
- water
- shampoo
- 2 tubs
- bandage tape
- paper plate
- towels
-
Step 1
If your cat has claws, wrap their paws with the bandage tape. If they might bite you, cut a hole in the center of the plate and slip over the cats head to the neck area so they can't turn around and bite you.
-
Step 2
Fill both tubs with warm water. Gently lift the cat into the tub and with your hand or a cup pour the water over the cats body, not the head and face area. Those you need to clean with a washcloth. Pour the shampoo on your cat and wash well by massaging the cats body. When clean, scoop as much of the soap off the cat as possible.
-
Step 3
Place cat into tub of clean fresh water and remove the remaining soap. Be sure not to get into ears or eyes. Lift from but and place in a towel to dry.
