Blended fruit drinks are a great way to add nutrition to your daily diet. With all of the different types of fruit, it's easy to keep the drinks new and exciting every day. Drinks made from fresh fruit taste much better than store-bought fruit drinks and are much healthier. Blended fruit drinks are especially good to give to children, who often don't like to eat plain fruit.
Things You'll Need
Remove seeds, pits, stems or any other non-edible parts of the fruit.
Cut the fruit into 1-inch chunks. If using small fruits such as berries, you don't have to cut them. You need about 1 cup of fruit to make one drink. Put the fruit into the blender.
Add 2 cups juice to the fruit. You can use any type of juice, but make sure it's 100 percent natural to ensure the blended drink is as healthy as possible.
Blend the mixture on the "Mix" setting for 30 seconds. Switch the setting to "Smooth" and blend it until the drink reaches a desired consistency.
Add more juice if you want the drink to be thinner. Add more fruit if you want a thicker drink.
Tips & Warnings
- Add 1/2 cup ice to the blender if you want a slushy drink. Add 1/2 cup yogurt or sherbet for a thick, creamy drink.
