Things You'll Need:
- 2 packages cream cheese (8 ounces each)
- ¾ cup blue cheese (crumbled)
- 1 package shredded sharp cheddar cheese (8 ounces)
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Parsley
-
Step 1
Cream CheeseCheeses should be softened by letting them stand at room temperature until softened. This means take the cheese out of the refrigerator at least an hour before you want to start to prepare the cheese ball. If you forget, don’t worry, just put the cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 60 seconds or so, until soft.
-
Step 2
Mixing the CheesePlace cheeses in mixer bowl. Beat together until smooth on medium speed.
-
Step 3
Worcestershire SauceAdd onions and Worcestershire sauce and change to low speed until blended. Refrigerate with a cover, plastic wrap is very good, for at least 8 hours or overnight.
-
Step 4
Fresh ParsleyForm into a large ball or into small bite-sized balls, about twenty. Cover with parsley that has been finely snipped.
-
Step 5
Blue Cheese BallsCover and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Small balls can be served with a toothpick inserted.
