How to Find a New Home for a Cat

1. Finding a new home for your cat can be difficult. Matching you loved one up with the right family that will love and care for your cat as you have, can turn into a circus if you are not sure how to go about finding them a new home.

2. Post Flyers:
   Post flyers around the neighborhood that shows a picture of your cat, and the reason why you are unable to care for the cat any longer. Leave contact information, so a potential owner can contact you about your cat. Make a detailed list of questions you want to ask when you meet the potential family that is interested in your cat.

3. Talk to Veterinarian:
   Talk to your veterinarian about what is going on, and see if they know of anyone who may have lost a cat due to it running away, or dying suddenly. See if there are families looking for a cat to help mend their broken hearts. This way you will know that the new home will care for the cat just as you have.

4. Shelter:
   If your time has ran out, and you were unable to locate a new home for your cat. The local animal rescue league will find your cat a new family that will love and care for your cat as you have.
