Things You'll Need:
- box, scissors, trash bags, pen, paper.
-
Step 1
Write down the reasons why you had to break up in the first place and post it on the wall or on your desk. As time passes, we have selective memories...remembering the good times and forgetting the bad times. Don't forget the main reasons why you had to break up.
-
Step 2
Take all your pictures out of frames, rip them, and throw them away. This will ensure that you won't remember the good times.
-
Step 3
Delete all of your ex-boyfriend's phone numbers from your cell phone.(Delete his number from address book, delete all call records). This will prevent you from calling him when you miss him or when you are drunk.
-
Step 4
If you still miss your ex-boyfriend, read your diary (only the entries that show you how much he has pained you emotionally), and remember the bad times.
-
Step 5
Put all of the items (gifts, Valentine's chocolate boxes, souvenirs from trips) into a box and put them away. Don't display items that show you good memories of your ex.
-
Step 6
Do not be friends with your ex-boyfriend. Unless you have absolutely no feelings left for your ex, it'll be hard to be friends. Unless you can remain your cool and be indifferent, don't be friends with him.
-
Step 7
Go out with your friends! Go meet new guys. You won't remember your ex when you are having a great time with new guys who will treat you better. So, go out and meet new people.
-
Step 8
If you have a sudden urge or the need to talk to your ex-boyfriend, call your close friends and ask for their opinions. They'll tell you not to call him and move on. They remember the facts. You just forgot.
-
Step 9
Remember that you have only one life! Enjoy and have fun! Choose to be a fabulous Single than to be in a dead-end relationship.
