A super easy recipe that's great for summer barbecues and holidays. Light and delicious, perfect for every occasion. The flour, butter and nuts make a wonderful 'crust' that goes excellent with either the chocolate or the lemon pudding. Enjoy!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 C Flour
  • 2 1/2 tbls sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 2, 4 oz. boxes of chocolate or lemon instant pudding
  • 2 C chopped walnuts
  • Large tub cool whip
  1. Step 1

Mix together flour, sugar, melted butter and nuts by hand. Press mixture down into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Mix pudding according to directions on package. Let it cool for several minutes, no more than five.

  3. Step 3

Layer the pudding over the flour mixture after they have both cooled. It’s best to refrigerate the dish at this stage; it makes the cool whip easier to spread after it’s had an hour or two to chill. Cover in the refrigerator while chilling.

  4. Step 4

When the pudding is set, spread the cool whip over the entire surface. Cover any leftovers tightly and refrigerate.
