Twenty five percent of each meal should be whole grains such as brown rice, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread, or whole or steel cut oats. Twenty five percent of each meal should be from a meat that is low in saturated fat such as turkey, fish, chicken or tofu.
Eat healthy snacks of vegetables, fruit or lean meats.
Drink plenty of water each day.
EXERCISE - Exercise every day if you are a diabetic. Diabetics need to exercise regularly. Your doctor may advise you to exercise five to six days per week. Walking is a perfectly fine exercise that is easy for everyone to do. Make sure that you exercise at least thirty minutes per day and hopefully sixty minutes per day. You can also add on some weight training for even more health benefits. Exercising every day will help you to cure your diabetes.
Just eating healthy and exercising can reverse adult onset Type 2 diabetes. Change your ways and improve your health today. If you do not change, your diabetes may get worse.
